Lit circles/ reader's workshop

HW: R.J 14.3 iReady 2 lessons 40-45 min. Read&Write a poem.


 Once we entered the classroom we put down our chairs, took out our agendas, and wrote down the agenda. We then, took a min by watching a video. After that, Bryan read his blog and chose me to write the next. Then, we picked a poem to read and discussed it. After that, Ms. Nakada told us the poetry prompts for the day. Then, we wrote our poems down while she asked for our progress. We then finished our QQSL by listening to the song "Only happy when it rains" by Garbage. After that, we discussed the song and then wrote down the lines for the week. We then discussed the lines. After that, we got with our partners to finish our black author projects and Ms. Nakada told us the authors we need to do. Then, we packed up and left.

After that, we read the blog, and I got picked. After that, we set up a week 10 reading journal and she asked us if we are doing IXL, iReady, or reading a book. Then, we did week 10 q.q.s.l. Ms .Nakada couldn't find a take a minute video so we wrote down our agendas, and we wrote the quote: "If you don't like something change it. If you cant change it change your attitude" by Maya Angelou. After that, we wrote down the question What is one thing you will take and one thing you will leave behind? After that, we started to work on the iReady diagnostic for the rest of class. Once the bell rang, we pushed in our chairs and we left.
