 Agenda take a minute blog corrections reader's workshop week 4: Q Q S L I.O.&.B.A.  Essays HW RJ 4.3 Read or Spend 20-30 minutes on IXL or iReady Record minutes/summary We started off by walking into the class and putting our chairs down. We then took a minute and wrote down the agenda for the day. After that, Ethan came up and read his blog and picked me to write the next one. Then, Ms. Nakada told everyone to take out their English notebook to write down the poem "Hanging Fire" by Audre Lorde. Then, we took out our  I.O.&.B.A. Essay paper and continue on what we left on, and then the bell rang and we left class to go to our next one.

 Agenda  Take a minute  Blog corrections Reader's Workshop  Week 4: Q. Q. S. L I.O.&.B.A.  Essays HW: RJ 4.2 Read or spend 20-30 minutes on IXL or iReady. Record minutes / summary. Entering the class, we lowered the chairs and took a minute. Then, we wrote our agendas and Ms. Nakada reviewed our three words from IXL or a book. After that, Ms. Nakada played us the song of the week called "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. After, Ms. Nakada gave us a paper to make an I.O.&.B.A.  prompt. The bell rang, and we went to the next class.

 Agenda take a minute blog corrections reader's workshop week 4 Q.Q.S.L I.O.&.B.A   Essays HW: R.J 4.1 Read or spend 20-30 minutes on IXL or iReady Record minutes/summary. Once we got in the class we put our chairs down, and took out our agendas. After we finished our agendas, we took a minute. Then, Ms. Nakada read Kayla's blog, and we corrected it after. Once we corrected the blog, we did IXL or iReady. We then, took out our English notebooks and wrote week 4 Q.Q.S.L. After that, we worked on our I.O.&.B.A. Essays. Then, the bell rang, so we packed up and left.

  AGENDA Take a minute Blog corrections  Reader's workshop Week 3: Lines & Quiz  I.O. & B.A. essays  Hw: Have a restful weekend! When Ms. Nakada let us into the class, we put our chairs down and wrote down the agenda. Once we were done with take a minute, Nayeli read her blog and chose me to do the next one. Ms. Nakada went around looking at our reading journals, while we did IXL or finished our iReady. We started our lines "Home" by Warsan Shire and did our Week 3 quiz.

Agenda  take a minute blog-corrections  reader's workshop week 3: Q.Q.S.L I.O. &.B.A. essays HW: RJ 3.4 read for 20-30 minutes- record 3-word or visual summary. We started the day by walking into class and writing the agenda of the day. After, we finished correcting Xavier's blog, we all raised our hands to see who hadn't done the blog yet. Xavier then chose me to do the blog next. We then, had to either finish our iReady or IXL. After that, we started our week 3 Q.Q.S.L. Finally, the bell rang, and we packed up to get to our next class.

After that, Mason read his blog, then chose me. Then, Ms. Nakada checked how many minutes we did on IXL and iReady. We then, pulled out our chromebooks and did IXL and iReady. Then, the bell rang, and we left class.

AGENDA take a minute blog - corrections reader's workshop I.O.& B.A. Essays HW: RJ 2.2 Read for 20 - 30 minutes and record.  First we stepped into the classroom and put our chairs down. Then, as Ms, Nakada was putting the take a minute we took our binder reminders and wrote the agenda written on the board. Soon after, Ms. Nakada read Keaden's blog, because he was absent. Once she finished reading the blog, she chose me to do the next blog. Then, after, we started to do the iReady diagnostic. Finally, since the day was short, we finished our iReady, the bell rang, and we left.

Mr. Kamm came over the say that we were good for the sub. We took minute, wrote down the agenda, and then Ms. Nakada asked us what we did on Friday because no one had logged any minutes on iReady or IXL. So, we had to do the iReady middle of the year diagnostic.

Take a minute Blog corrections  Week 2: Q Q S L reader workshop iReady I.O.&.B.A   ACE HW RJ 2.3 Read for 20-30 min. and record summary ( 3-word or visual). We walked into the class and, put all of the seats down. We did the Binder-Reminder and, Take a minute after that, we did the lines for the week 2: Q Q S L "what is your life Blueprint?" by: Dr. King favorite line: "If you can't fly, run. If you can't run, walk. If you can't walk, crawl, but by all means, keep moving. We are all done with the book I.O.&.B.A.   Then, after that, we all started to do IXL. Then, we left the classroom.

  Agenda Take a minute blog corrections week 2 q.q.s.l reader's workshop iready HW: RJ 20 - 30 minutes IXL  We all walked into the classroom and put our chairs down. We sat down and began to take out our binder reminders. Once Ian was done reading his blog he picked me to type a blog next. After I came up to write my blog, Ms. Nakada put on a song called "We Shall Overcome" by Pete Seeger. This song is about Black and white civil rights activists coming together to fight for an end to segregation. When we were done reviewing the song, we moved on to read and annotate the poem on pages 221 until about page 260. We pack up and leave once the bell rings.

  Agenda Take a minute Blog corrections Week 2 Q.Q.S.L  Readers work shop  I ready HW  R.j 2.1 read for 20 - 30 minutes  record summary ( 3 word or visual ) We started off by taking a seat and writing the agenda down. After we finish writing it down, some people took the week 1 quiz. The class then wrote down the quote, question, song, lines. The class started to work on I.O. & B.A . We then read four poems to a partner. After that, the class packed up and got ready for the next class.

Take a minute blog-corrections reader's workshop I.O.&B.A. We walk into class, put our chairs down, and then, we do take a minute. After that, Gio reads the blog. We then, we write in our agenda. After we write in our agenda, we move on to our reader's workshop. After reader's workshop, we do the week one quiz. After we took the quiz, the bell rang. We packed up and left.

Then, we did blog corrections, and Ms. Nakada told us to get out our notebooks. We went over I.O&.B.A,   and then, the bell rang, and we went to our next class.                                                                                                                       

Rhythm's Third Blog (First of the second semester)

  AGENDA - Take a minute blog corrections - Week 1:Q Q S L - Readers workshop: I.O.A.B.A HW: RJ 1.3 I.O.A.B.A  We entered the classroom   and wrote down the Agenda. Then, we took out our notebooks and began to finish our Q.Q.S.L writing the lines which was a poem named " The Summer Day"  by Mary Oliver. After we finished, we opened our Inside Out and Back Again books and made artwork based on what we'd read. The bell rang, and Ms. Nakada  dismissed us.

 Agenda  take a minute blog corrections  week 1: Q Q S L  reader's workshop :  I. O. & B. A.  HW RJ 1.2  I. O. & B. A.     We started by going inside the class and got situated. We wrote down the agenda. Then Derrick read his blog for the class and chose me to do the next one. Ms. Nakada had us turn in our parent-signed syllabus.  Then we finished the QQSL for Week 1: "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year" OR "Finish every day and be done with it. You've done what you could." Ralph Waldo Emerson Question: What are you excited/anxious about in 2024?  Song: "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.  We talked a little about Inside Out and Back Again part II.

AGENDA new seats take a minute blog corrections spring syllabus week 1: qqsl reader's workshop I.O.A.B.A. HW RJ 1.1 I.O.A.B.A. Part 1 Ms. Nakada opens the door and gives us new seats. We copy down the agenda, and Niko picks me to do the blog next. Ms. Nakada reads the spring syllabus, and then we take our English notebooks out and draw an image based on what happened in Part 1 of I.O.A.B.A. The bell rings, and we leave.
