 Agenda blog . Corrections week 12: Q.Q.S.L Nano Prep HW: Get ready to novel! We walked into the classroom, got settled in our seats, and wrote down the agenda. Ms. Nakada came around with candy and we all said, "Trick-or Treat" to get a piece. Creatobers were due today, and we had to turn in 20 clean/good looking ones. After Ms. Nakada checked everyone's Creatobers, we did The Outsiders   movie v. book essay. We then filled out a grading sheet for the essay. After, that the paper and blue sheet were stapled together and turned in. We discussed our novels for November and what we want to write. Lastly, we packed up cleaned our area and left class.

After that we did Week 11  quote, question, song, and lines. We all listened to the song  "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman. Then, we did the week 11 quiz.

 AGENDA blog corrections T.O. Book v. Movie Book Projects HW Have a fun weekend! We start class by putting down our chairs. Then, we write the agenda in our binder reminders. Shortly after, Ms. Nakada puts on The Outsiders  movie for the class. Once the movie ends, we begin to work on our book projects.

 AGENDA Creatober T.O.  Book v. Movie Book Projects HW  RJ 11.3 Read for 20-30 minutes or IXL Today we started by walking inside the classroom and taking down the chairs. Then, we wrote down the agenda and took out our Creatobers. After that, we turned in our book projects. At the end of class, we watched The Outsiders movie.

After, we did our Creatober and did our week eleven quote, question, song and, lines. The quote for the week was "If there is a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it" By Toni Morrison. Then, we started to watch The Outsiders  movie.  While we were watching Ms. Nakada told us to take out our movie vs book. After, the bell rang and we left.

Movie HW: RJ 11.1 Read for 20-30 mins or IXL First, we walked in the classroom and wrote our agendas in our Binder Reminders. Then, Ms. Nakada called on Ethan to read his second blog. After he finished reading his blog, he picked me to write the next one. After that, we took our CreaTober out and our English notebook out. After, we finish doing our week 10 Q.Q.S.L. and quiz, we watched part of The Outsiders movie. Then, we packed up to go to our next class.

After writing the agenda and finishing today's Creatober Angel started reading his second blog's. After that, Ms. Nakada started collecting our SLC letters. Then, Ms. Nakada showed us the movie The Outsiders, Ms. Nakada asked us questions about whether the movie was the same as the book.

Then, we took out our Binder Reminders and wrote the Agenda. Soon after, Ms. Nakada, read Kaeden's second blog. Then, we did our CreaTober. Then, we took out are  Inside Out And Back Again books and our English notebooks. Then, Ms. Nakada, gave us a piece of paper that's when we can wrote our Student Led Conference Fall. Then,  we packed up and left.

We then start on our creatobers. Then, we take out are Inside Out And Back Again  books and our English notebooks. Ms. Nakada then reads the book. Then we start watching the movie The Outsiders . Then, we packed up and left.

Then, we changed our seats, and after we changed our seats we wrote down the agenda for the day. Mason read his blog to the whole class, and then he chose me. After that, we did CreaTober for five minutes. Then, we wrote down The Outsiders Book v Movie in our notebooks. After that we took the Week 9 Quiz. We was about to watch the The Outsiders Movie but class ended.....

Movie           HW: RJ 10.1 Read For 20-30 Minutes or IXL       First, we walked in the classroom and put our chairs down. Then, we took out our Binder Reminders and wrote the Agenda. Soon after, we did our Creatober and discussed last weeks question: "Is it offensive to use Native Americans as team mascots?"After that, we listened to The Song of The Week "Hawaii '78" Isreal "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole" and discussed what the song meant and the meaning of it and our favorite lyric. Then, we looked at the lines "Invisible Fish" by Joy Harjo. Out of nowhere, the fire alarm rang and we evacuated to the field. 

 Agenda: blog corrections CreaTober The Outsiders   ch.12  AR Test Week 9: Q Q S L HW: Enjoy the weekend In the morning we walked in the class and wrote down the agenda. Then, we started to draw for CreaTober for five minutes the word was "rise." After that, Josiah read his blog and chose me to do the blog. Next, Ms. Nakada had everyone take out their reading journals, and Outsiders , so she can come around and grade everyone's reading journal. After we were done going over The Outsiders book, we took the AR test for it. Then, we all packed up and left.

Once we wrote in our binder reminder, the class started to do CreaTober for five minutes. We started to talk about chapter 10/11 of the Outsiders, Dally was shot by the police and died. We wrote our own iReady scores in our English notebooks. We turned to the q.q.s.l. for week 9. The quote is: "It does not require many words to speak the truth." Chief Joseph. We didn't get to write the question because class was talking too much.

AGENDA blog corrections Creatober The Outsiders Week 9 Q.Q.S.L  quick write HW RJ 9.3 The Outsiders P. 150-166 AR 50% by Friday As we walked into class I put my chair down, then I got my binder reminder from inside of my backpack and placed it onto the table. After I wrote down the agenda for the day, I brought out my computer and started working on my AR. After that, I put everything away and brought out my reading journal and my Outsiders book. When I finished writing down my three words from chapter 11 "rumble, irony, and the passing of Johnny, we started to work on our quote question song lines for the week. The quote for the week is "It does not require many words to speak the truth"  by Chief Joseph. 

AGENDA blog - corrections CreaTober RJ Set-Up The Outsiders Ch. 8 Week 9: Q and Q HW: RJ 9.2 T.O. CH. 9 p. 131 - 149 50% of AR by Friday! We walk in Ms. Nakada's classroom and started copying the agenda onto our planners. As a class after copying the agenda, we got into doing Creatober. For today's assignment, we had to draw a fortune. After we finished drawing our picture, we started to set up our reading journal for the week. We went over the readings that we had been given for homework. Ms. Nakada assigned chapter 9 for homework to read for tonight. At the end of the class, we were going to do week 9 quote, but we ran out of time. It was Tuesday an early dismal. 

Agenda Blog corrections Week 8 quiz Creatober RJ set up Indigenous People's Day~ IReady Scores / Goals Week 9 : Q&Q HW RJ 9.1  T.O.  Ch.8 p.119-130 As we walk in Ms. Nakada greets us. We put the chairs away so we can silently pull out our agendas along with our Outsiders books. After writing down the agenda, Ms. Nakada starts reading Alexanda's blog out loud. When she finishes, she asks out loud "If you have not done your first blog, please your hand." As I raised my hand, she chose me.  We did CreaTober and the prompt was bounce. Then, we did the Week 8 Quote: "Banning books gives us silence when we need speech. It closes our ears when we need to listen. It makes us blind when we need sight." Stephen Chbosky.  The question was: do you read banned books.  We listened to part of the song: "Freedom" by Rage Against the Machine and then read and discussed the poem, "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost.  Then, we took the week 8 quiz....

blog corrections  CreaTober  The Outsiders ch7 i Ready scores  RJ/BR Week 8 quiz  HW: Have a great academy day! Once we entered the room we first put down our chairs and took out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. Then after we finished blog correction we then did our Creatobers. After that Ms.Nakada  was checking our binder reminders and our reading journal's. Once she finished that we then we read The Outsiders out loud page 100-107 the we left to our next class.

Blog correction  creatobers  ch. 6 week 8: Q.Q.S.L  HW: RJ 8.3 T.o ch.7 100-118` We went in class, and we put our chairs down. Everyone started to grab their binder reminder and write the agenda that's on the board. While people were writing their agenda, Ms. Nakada asked Yarenni to read her blog. After she finished reading she picked me to do my blog. We started to do our Creatobers and draw a picture based on the word dodge. Then, we reviewed and read  The Outsider  ch. 6. When we finish reading, she gave us a paper to put in our table of contacts for our  I-ready score. She explained what we will do with the paper she gave us.

Agenda: Take a minute  Creatober  The Outsiders   Ch.5  Week 8: Q.Q.S.L Step-Up/Q.W. Homework: RJ 8.2  T.O. Ch. 6 p. 85-99 We start class by writing in our reminder folder. Then, we made corrections to the blog. Today we continue a little with Creatober. After, Nathan came to read his blog. The class started reading The Outsiders and talking about The Outsiders.  We talked about the book and what happened in the book. The bell rang, we packed our bags and the school day ended.

After, Geovany read the blog and he chose me. Afterwards, Ms. Nakada explained to us what Creatober was and what we were going to do. Next, Ms.  Nakada told us to take out our Chromebooks so some of us can redo the week seven quiz. After, we finished the week seven quiz Ms. Nakada told us to get our reading journals out so we can set them up. After, we packed up and left for our next class.
