AGENDA Take a minute  Blog corrections  Reader's workshop  Week 11: Q.Q.S.L Black author projects  HW: RJ 11.4 iReady (2 Lessons) read, IXL, or iReady for 20 -30 minutes  We walked into class and took the chairs down. We took out our supplies and wrote the agenda of the day down. After we did our blog corrections , Jairus chose me to do the blog next. Then, we worked on our iReady for reader's workshop. Soon after, we began to finish out week 11: Q.Q.S.L. And before the bell could ring, we worked on our black research projects, packed up, and headed to our second period class.

Agenda  take a minute  blog corrections  reader's workshop  week 11 : Q Q S L  Black Author Projects  HW: RJ 11.3 iReady (2 lessons) Read, iReady, or IXL or 20 - 30 minutes.  We walked in class took down our chairs and wrote down the agenda. Kyree read his blog and picked me to do the next blog. Then, we got into our readers workshop. After that, we took out our English Notebooks and listened to '' Like a Girl" by Lizzo for our song of the week. We wrote down our favorite lyric. Then, we started working on our Black author projects, and the bell rang. Then, Ms. Nakada dismissed us to go to the next class.

Agenda Take a Minute  Blog Corrections Reader's Workshop  Week 11 q-q-s-l Black Author Projects Once we walk into class everybody puts their chairs down. We all sit down and take out binder reminders. As we were writing down the agenda for today on our binder reminders, Ms. Nakada, played a mindful video on elephants. After that, Kaeden finished reading his blog and decided to pick me up for the next blog. So as I'm doing the blog, I am also finishing up a few lessons on Iready that I needed to do. Then, we packed up and left.

Take a minute  blog - corrections reader's workshop  week 10 : quiz  week 11 Q.Q.S.L Black Author Projects HW: RJ 11.1 iReady (2 lessons), read, IXL, iReady, 20 - 30 minutes.  We came in and took our chairs down. Then, we took a minute. Legend reads his blog, and then picks me to do the next blog. We did the week 10 quiz. Then, we set up our week 11 reading journals. We logged onto iReady and then reviewed the week 10 QQSL. We took the quiz and then we discussed the quote and question. Quote: "Solidarity is what we want. We do not want to find fault with each other, but to solidify forces." Mother Jones Question: Would you like to be famous? In what way?  Then, the bell rang, and we packed up.

Take a minute Blog . Corrections Reader's Workshop Week 10: Q.Q.S.L Black Author Projects We all started our day by walking into class, and putting down chairs. We did take a minute, and after that Alexandra read her Blog. We did blog corrections and she picked me. Next, we did Reader's Workshop. We started doing Week 10: Q.Q.S.L . We talked about the Song of the week "The Man" by Taylor Swift😐. Then, we started talking about domestic violence beating 😨, and being an Alpha 🐺. We started the lines of the week "How to Triumph Like a Girl" by Ada Limon. Then, we left.

Agenda  take a minute  blog-corrections  reader's workshop week 10: Q,Q,S,L HW: RJ 10.3 Read, IXL, or iReady for 20-30 minutes We walked into class and put our chairs down. Then, we took out our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. After that, Ms. Nakada read the blog and chose me to do the blog next. We then went into reader's workshop and you either read did IXL or iReady. Once we finished, we then listened to the song of the week which was "The Man" by Taylor Swift. We then packed up and waited for Ms. Nakada to dismiss us and left to our next class.

Take a minute   blog corrections  reader's workshop  week 10 q.q.s.l  literature circle HW RJ 10.1 read, ixl, or iReady for 20-30 minutes. We came into class and put the chairs down. After that, we read the blog, and I got picked. After that, we set up a week 10 reading journal and she asked us if we are doing IXL, iReady, or reading a book. Then, we did week 10 q.q.s.l. Quote: "No one is your friend who demands your silence or denies your right to grow." Alice Walker Question: What does gender equity look like at school?  Then, we discussed how to conduct research. Finally, we packed up and left.

And after we did that, derrick read his blog to the class and we did blog corrections. After he got done, he picked me to do the blog next. And we did reader's workshop for 5-10 minutes. After that, we did our Week 9 Quiz. And we packed up a left.

 Agenda take a minute blog corrections reader's workshop week 9 QQSL Lit. circles HW RJ 9.4 Read or IXL/iReady for 20 minutes & record We start the day off by getting into our assigned seats, and pulling our binder reminders out of our backpack. Shortly after, Niko selected me to type the next blog. Then, Ms. Nakada checks reading journals as we transition into reader's workshop. Next, Ms. Nakada called Niko to read the lines she recently passed out. We then annotate the lines, but the bell rings, and we pack up and leave.

 Take a minute Blog .  corrections  Reader's workshop Week 9 Q.Q.S.L Literature circles Homework  RJ 9.3 Read or IXL/iReady for 20-30 minutes and record. We started the day by walking in and taking our chairs down. After that, we took a minute, read and corrected yesterday's blog, and opened our reading journals for Reader's workshop so we could check if we did our homework. After we did that, we did some IXL/iReady or reading just to catch up. Then, we took out our reading journals again so we could do the Q.Q.S.L. Today, the song was "Respect" by Aretha Franklin. We wrote down what the song was about and our favorite line. After we did that, we did literature circles. After that, we packed up and left for second period.

After we took them down, we took a minute and wrote down our agendas. Josiah then started to read his blog. After, he then decided to pick me for the next blog. We then started reader's workshop. Then, we did week 9 Quote Question Song Lines. The quote: "We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back" by Malala Yousafzai. The question was: How does media/social media reinforce gender stereotypes.  Then, we left and got ready for our next period.

Chris read his blog and he picked me. After that, the class did the week 8 quiz. After, we took the quiz we made our reading log for the week. We talked about culmination requirements, then class ended, and we left.
